Get Well Soon to Uncle Stan

Uncle Stan has been in the hospital in San Francisco. Apparently, he is doing better. The kids and I thought we should make a Get Well Soon card and send as an email. I read them the email from Pam and we decided to make a picture of the boat and fishing. I can't tell but Auntie's fish might be bigger then Uncle Stan's. I also like the hospital bed picture in the lower left hand side.

This would be a blue boat with Auntie and Uncle Stan catching a big fish. The moon on the boat has something to do with fishing at night. (To me it looks a little like Uncle Stan and Auntie driving Santa's sleigh being pulled by Rudolph the green nosed salmon)

sleeping kids and snow

I don't know why we love to take pictures of our sleeping kids, but we do. There's something so absolutely adorable about seeing them this way. For much of the time, they're really good buddies, and they often sleep together!

Yes, we've had white and more white, and then some more. We're lame-o parents who whine about getting cold (or at least I do) but luckily the kids have this friend named Adrian who takes them outside and builds snowmen with them. This one's a big frightening, especially now; it's lost everything except one eye. Ew.

friend fun from a few weeks ago

We had to get our Settlers game back (wrenched it from Greg and Amy's hands! :) ) after our trip, and so they came over for dinner and a few rounds of trading, road building, and settlement-making. We also got to watch Koby and Spencer for the evening as it was Lana's birthday! Fun times:

Attic project

Con and Adrian have been working on putting down a rough floor in the attic space so that we have a bit more storage (boy, do we miss having a basement. What a lovely midwest invention.) The kids have been 'helping' up there...
